Submarines like the Titan do not typically have life rafts on board. This is because submarines are designed to operate underwater for extended periods of time and are equipped with their own life support systems. In the event of an emergency, such as a sinking or damage to the submarine, the crew would rely on the submarine's escape and rescue systems, which include escape hatches and rescue vehicles. Life rafts are not practical for use by submarines due to their primary function of operating underwater. **

The submarine's systems would be designed to protect the occupants from the extreme temperatures and radiation of the sun's surface. **
